Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mrs. LaTrelle Faircloth Dubberly, age 78, who passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Memorial Health in Savannah. She was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County. Mrs. LaTrelle was a secretary with the Board of Education in Brantley County, bookkeeper for the Board of Education in Appling County, a secretary for Appling County High School and farmed alongside her husband Jimmy Dubberly for the past twenty years. Mrs. Dubberly was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and the Senior Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Dubberly is preceded in death by her parents, J.A.B. and Lola Hutcheson Faircloth and a brother, Joseph Faircloth.
Surviving is her husband of fifty-eight years, Jimmy Dubberly; her children, Thomas Dubberly (Josefina) and Valerie Thornton (James); two grandchildren, Hannah Weisel (Chris) and Jesse Dubberly (Shelby); five great grandchildren; brother, Vance Faircloth (June); sister-in-law, Rosetta Faircloth; many loving nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held Monday, June 21, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. from the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Reverend Darrell Quinn and Reverend Fred Lacey officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Dubberly will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
Active Pallbearers are Charles Dubberly, Greg Dubberly, Scotty Turner, Sam Coleman, Glenn Williams, and Chris Weisel.
Honorary Pallbearers are the Senior Sunday School Class of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
